Jaclyn Ruddock

My name is Jaclyn and I am a 21-year-old learning all about Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management at Southern Methodist University. I am due to graduate in Spring 2024 from SMU's Cox School of Business.

I found myself intrigued in learning more about the supply chain and how it works while working at a small manufacturer's distribution center back in high school. A few years later, I was accepted into SMU's Cox School of Business, and I declared my major to be Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management.

Now as I have begun my senior year and have more classes that are directly related to my major, I am confident that Supply Chain Management is what I want to pursue. I love logistics, event planning, marketing, and really just anything that requires organization and attention to detail. As a lieutenant on my dance team, I have the opportunity to do all this at once, having created our website, planned semester events, and booked our performances, among other administrative tasks.

Additionally, I have taken several courses in coding at SMU and online. I am actively growing my knowledge in different languages like Java, C++, Python, SQL, and R. While far from an expert, I have enjoyed my time learning these programs and how to utilize them to make my work more efficient.
